Non-oriented silicon steel sheet
Non-oriented silicon steel is a ferrosilicon alloy with very low carbon content. The grains in the deformed and annealed steel plate are irregularly oriented. The silicon content of the alloy is 1.5%~3.0%, or the sum of silicon and aluminum content is 1.8%~4.0%. The product is usually cold rolled sheet or strip with nominal thickness of 0.35 and 0.5mm, mainly used for manufacturing motors and generators.
